And the Winner, and the November 2011 US entry to the Countdown is...

Natalie Walker - "Cool Kids"

Natalie Walker is an American vocalist, songwriter and musician from Indiana who first came to prominence as part of the group "Daughter Darling". While her time in the low-key electronica trip hop outfit was promising, Walker decided on a solo career. Her solo releases initially had little commercial impact, but the comparatively "dense" nature of her music makes many of her songs distinctive even in small snippets, which was useful for television directors, and small samples from her songs used in popular television shows have thus brought her to the attention of music enthusiasts.

Walker has continued to explore new styles, and her latest work aims to bridge pop and electronica, with the ultimate goal of telling stories with music as well as possible.

The song "Cool Kids" comes from Natalie Walker's latest album, "Spark."
