The bad news is that the "win" happened because the manager from Romania, whose song by received the most points, failed to vote. This results in an automatic 12 point penalty, and this put the US and Ingrid Michaelson over the top. The original score to Geta Burlacu was 117 points, but this fell to 105 points after the penalty, leaving Ingrid Michaelson at 110 points, the victor.
