US Preselection for March 2013

US aviation:  the Benoist XIV, flying over Tampa Bay, Florida in 1914.  This small flying boat was the first aircraft to provide scheduled heavier than-air (i.e. not a balloon or dirigible) airline service anywhere in the world.
