Lana Del Rey WINS International Contest!  

As always, preselections, as seen on this blog, select songs to compete in The Countdown International, where individual songs, one from each nation, entered by nations from all over the world compete.  

This December's competition had 54 songs, competing, and the Lana Del Rey song "Blue Jeans", as entered by the US, captured the top score, by the narrow margin of one point!  Big thanks to everyone in the international competition who voted for the song, and of course, thanks to everyone who participated in the US preselections to select the song in the first place.
