And Another Surprise In the Winner............  but not an entirely happy surprise this time

An explanation is in order.  Unfortunately, I made an error.  One of the songs, by a band that plays "Americana" is in fact, not eligible, because the core members of the band are from Britain and Sweden.  This is a bigger problem than usual, because this very same ineligible band won the preselection.  Alberta Cross has proven their excellence, although, unfortunately, they are not eligible to compete for the US.  The US competitor for the month of December is thus the excellent....
